Zack and Cody ILY

Crying he pushed open the door to the suite he, his brother, and mother shared at the Tipton Hotel. As the

young blond stumbled into the room he tossed his back pack at the couch and leaned back against the door in

order to close it. Once the heavy door clicked shut he ran and flung himself on the couch that doubled as his

mothers bed and 20 seconds passed before he heard heavy foot steps in the hall and the door flung open once

again, this time hitting the wall behind it. The blond on the couch cringed, fearing a dent in the wall but that did

nothing to slow his rapidly falling tears.

"Cody. Cody what happened?" Zack ran towards the couch and knelt down in front of his crying younger twin

brother who curled himself up in the corner of the couch with his knees up to his chest, his head on his knees

and his long shaggy natural blond highlighted hair created a curtain around his crying face. Zack tried to touch

his brothers knee but once his small hand came in contact with the jean clad body part his brother cried harder

and moved into the fetal position.

"Cody! Damnit." The now 14 year old Zack Martin cursed. "What the heck happened? Why did you just run from

from the school?" Zack sighed and ran his hands threw his messy hair.

"They found out." was all his younger brother croaked out from behind his hair that still covered his face.

"Know what? Who knows?" Zack sat on the couch next to his twin, reaching over Zack yanked the younger up by

his shoulders and forced him to face him. Cody cheeks were red, much like his nose and tear stained. His eyes

were puffy and bloodshot. His hair was sticking up and ruffled. He looked nothing like the brainy, intelligent, fun

loving boy he was. Even the tie on his shirt was messed up. Cody roughly pulled away from his twins grasp and

stood, glaring down at his brother.

"I'm sure you know what they found out...oh wait you prolly DON'T even know yourself since you NEVER even

pay attention to me!" Cody was shouting by the time he finished his sentence and ran into his and Zack's room

making a point to slam the door behind him.

Sighing Zack laied down on the couch and tried to figure out what his brother was so upset about and who

found out about what. But he couldn't so much as get past the hurtful words his younger double spit at him.

'I do pay attention to him...' Zack thought but he knew it wasn't true. Last time he and his brother spent any

*real* time together seemed like months ago. Releasing a holler of his own Zack stood and stormed into his

room to confront his brother. Bursting threw the door Zack made his was over to the desk his brother sat at

pouting with tears silently falling down his pretty face.

"Look Code...." the bigger twin began kneeling in front of his brother who steadily ignored him. "I'm sorry if I

really *don't* spend that much time with you and I would really like to know what's wrong."

"You never even told me you love me Zack.." was the only response his brother gave him before he turned in the

chair and gave his  back to his brother.

"That...that's not true." Zack mumbled but once again knew his brothers words were true and it stung him deep

in his heart.

"You know I do tho...right?" Zack asked half afraid of the answer.

"No...No Zack I don't know." Cody spoke, his back still to the other boy.

"Cody....I....I do...Y- you really don't know that?" Zack stuttered; wide eyed.

"No Zack. I don't. How could I think you do when you don't even know my secret that now everyone knows. You

don't even care." Cody mumbled, the hurt clear in his voice.

"Well then why don't you tell me?"

Cody turned to face his brother and locking eyes with him he shared the secret his brother should have known

before any one.

"I'm gay."

Zack blinked. And blinked again.

"You're....gay?"

"Yes"

"How did the school find out?"

Cody looked down

"I'm really not sure....."

Zack sighed.

"Well...we will get threw this together." Zack smiled at his brother and pulled him out of the chair and into his

arms. Resting his head on his baby brothers head Zack made a promise to himself to from his day on he would

protect his baby brother and make sure he knew he was loved.

"I love you Cody." Zack mumbled into his brothers soft hair. At those words the arms that were hanging limply

by his side wrapped around Zack's more muscular frame and he rested his head on his big brothers chest.

"I love you too Zack"
